When Time Stood Still

A few days back I went to a photography exhibition, the 51st Annual World Press Photo. It was basically a collection of the best works of photojournalism all around the globe. Needless to say, the pictures there spoke for themselves. Funny how the best entries weren't necessarily the ones which had the most megapixels.


Pictures that captured an honest moment. Pictures that could tell a story in a single snapshot. I could only wish to one day be able to have the privilege of claiming one as my own.

The picture below, featured in the exhibition, was taken by John Moore during the assassination of Pakistan's Benazir Bhutto.

Yeap. Plus it was exactly during the explosion. What are the odds of taking pictures at that exact moment...
