We were heading back home after an exhausting session of MATLAB scrutinizing when my friend said " You know, us engineers, our work revolves around risks. We actually get paid to take risks!"
....
"...it's just like prostitutes. Their line of work, day in and out....it's all about taking risks! Am I right?" *insert uncontrollable laughter*
No Brian, that statement is so wrong on so many levels, I won't even bother rebutting your statement.

Hahaha.
Engineers are prostitutes.
and Mr. Taqi a.k.a. Mr. Darkerebus pulak prostitute menganggur.
Mr. DarkErebus isn't a prostitute sir, ....he's a legendary womanizer.Hahaha.
It's the same to me.
engineers need to master a certain skill, as do prostitutes.
Engineers might meet with an allergy reaction,on the job, as would prostitutes.
Engineers need to battle deadlines and coffee to seem fit, healthy and productive, so would prostitutes.
I tell u, Brian does have a point.
is "day in and out" supposed to be a dirty pun?
or am i the only one thinking that way?
aisyah - apart from the allergy reaction, i may agree with you. What's a software engineer going to get allergic to? Geek-ness?
sop - you're sharp as always my friend...and no, you're the only one who thinks that way.
allergy reaction to the dust gathered around on books, or exams or people.
its the same
well..talking about risks. doc is the worst, em relatively a bit better than prostitutes. dont u think so aisyah?
the first bird flu thingy H5N1 came from doctor who treat a patient and got infected. and the list goes on. anthrax, MRSA, bla3..
engineers got high pay to take risk at least. doc? gaji ciput, kerja mcm org gila.
i should find some other good points so i'll stay in this line.hehe
engineers can crush under a pile of buildings..
engineers can crush under a pile of rasuah.
engineers can go bankrupt due to no payment from those who employ, but deploy, u get what I mean.
Like us doctors..
We're just in the risk of being infected by dangerous, lethal virus/diseases, killing more than one patient, and screwing up their work due to low pay and horrid working conditions.
I tell ya. It's tough being an engineer. hahaha
But that's besides the point. The point is between an engineer and a first class prostitute.
I'd never qualify. I'm just too fat!
Being anything at all is a hard job. I would think so,yes.
