"So here's how you'd get yourself into another world or dimension. You have either alcohol...or you could try Laplace transformations."

Paul Lant, UQ, 10-ish A.M

This right here is Pierre Simon Laplace, the man partly responsible for the exponentially increasing levels of cortisol and norepinephrine in my system. I nicked the picture off Wikipedia.

Thank you, sir!

It turns out I'm currently learning laplace transforms in maths at the moment!

I'm blog hopping, so pardon the sudden burst of randomness.hee!

Hullo there! A fellow victim of Laplace Transformation is always welcome I say. :D

Ooohh! Laplace! Laplace!

I'll tell you what beats having to learn Laplace transformation. It's having to apply a Laplace transformation in your assignment(s) without having even learnt about the stuff in the first place. *cries*

Why? Well, someone in the school decide us "enviros" were all mathematical geniuses and didn't need to take 2nd year engineering maths.

tu dia...cortisol and norepinephrine. engineers got to learn medic stuff. and we never got to know engineering stuff. haih. i hate med school T_T

Sounds like your engineering professors are semi-philosophers too. Must be inspiring being in their lectures, huh?

Sir Ashcroft said...

~blue - Kesian...Laplace is a pain. It's hard enough going through the stuff in lectures, I can only imagine what it's like learning it on your own.

anis - It isnt really medic stuff. It so happens that I was forced out of my will to take a microbiology course, which I have yet to see the significance to this day.

anonymous - Meh, not philosophers. They're...an interesting bunch of people. It's a good thing though. You never know when they'd suddenly decide to be comedians during lectures, with all the heavy materials floating around.

laplace is a genius. laplace transform are magical creatures clothed in PID controllers.

blo*dy steady state gain...

lol...Are you taking math2010 this sem or is this some chee-sy subject?

Sir Ashcroft said...

Nope, not math. It's a control subject, but I suppose it's not nearly as hard as the control subject that mech people do.

nerds.

Proud to be one.

Laplace? amende tu? boleh makan x?

lalalala~

Sir Ashcroft said...

Mestilah boleh. Hari Raya nnt ada makanan ni.

Eeee and I thought tak dapat balik Malaysia was bad enough, now I have to eat something called La Place. Oh woe betide thee!

Sir Ashcroft said...

Aih? How come tak jadi? La Place, it'll blow your mind! Sedap hingga menjilat siku.

Hahaha.

one bit of fact:

My lecturer said that Laplace is actually quite arrogant. He never praised the God in his book and it was considered very rude during "their" time.
