To Things That Were, To Things That Are, and To Things That Will Come to Pass.

We slowly age from this day to the other, mechanistically managing our lives. Somewhere along that long line, did we ever stop to ask ourselves, how much we've grown up? This will mark the first time I've put a stop to these perpetually running feet to contemplate.

Growing up is never easy. It is not something that may be forced, but is revealed onto us unwillingly, in the most discouraging occasions, but most certainly at times that we need it best.

It is not by mere coincidence that we are finally able to leave behind the past that we endearingly hold on to, to part ways with personal desires. Courage does not find its way to those who shy away from it.

At that point, I think we'll be able to look back at the things that were, and forgive ourselves for growing up.

Well, they say you need to make peace with the past so that it won't spoil the future.

I guess there's a lot more to the quote rather than just a collection of some big words.
