Everyone needs drive. It's hard to imagine someone without having something to keep them going. In each level of my education history, there was always something drawing me near if not pushing me forward.
Thanks to the ever increasing emphasis on academic proficiency (and also to Malaysia's education system), you really can't find a way to separate yourself from formal education without being labeled a failure in some way. This probably won't help much. But you know what I do in these situations. I just ask myself "How much do I care?"
If being labeled a failure at something, doesn't worry me in the least, then just drop everything. Do whatever minimum is necessary and take the rest of the time to enjoy yourself doing what is important to you.
If you do care about it, then grit your teeth and bear with it. And work for it knowing that you're doing it for yourself, that it's your choice.
It isn't much of a choice. But the world isn't fair. And rarely do you get a third option to choose from.
Anyway, cheer up. You've got friends everywhere rooting for you.:)
