Along the Lines

Is it really that bad when you become someone who adheres to rules? And what exactly makes individuals who go against social procedures stand out so much and sometimes even praised?

It's a pity that people make unwritten rules amongst themselves that serve to uplift one's position in a social space by belittlement of another. Such an appeal it is to the masses that some brave themselves, maybe force themselves to cough up the courage, to break the conventional and attempt the radical for the purpose of proving their worth and confirming their existence. I must admit, a rift in the chronic is certainly amusing but what of the other half?

The fate of those who oblige themselves to rules are every so often a sad one. Detested and abhorred, most are too often misunderstood. Do they lack flexibility or is it simply because they chose to stick to what they believe is right? If it is the latter, does that not make all of us the same? If so, then what gives us the right to sum up a conclusion when we ourselves commit the same crime?
